๐Ÿš€ Booking & Response Time
How fast can you come out?
Most jobs we can do same-day or next-day, depending on the contractor's schedule. Once you book, you'll see your slot locked in. Same-day cancellations from us are rare โ€” but if a contractor's truck breaks down, we'll text you immediately and get a replacement out.
Can I book without calling?
Yes. Book online in about 2 minutes. Pick your service, your date, your time slot. You'll get a confirmation with your booking ID and the contractor's name once they claim the job.
What times are you available?
Monday โ€“ Friday: 6 AM โ€“ 2 PM. Saturday by appointment. Sundays closed. After-hours voicemail and chat are checked daily โ€” we'll respond within one business day.
How long does a typical visit take?
Most visits run 1โ€“2 hours. Quick fixes (single-room cleanouts, gutter cleanings, simple haul-offs) are often under an hour. Longer visits are welcome โ€” basement cleanouts, estate cleanups, multi-task home days, full-property lawn work โ€” we just need to know upfront so the right contractor blocks enough time on their schedule. When you book, give us a realistic scope and we'll confirm the time slot together. No surprise fees if it runs long.
What areas do you serve?
Peoria, East Peoria, West Peoria, Pekin, Morton, Washington, Bartonville, Bellevue, Creve Coeur, Marquette Heights, Chillicothe, and surrounding communities. Outside that? Ask us โ€” for the right job we'll travel.
๐Ÿ’ฒ Pricing & Payment
How does pricing work?
We give you a quote during the booking call (or in chat). The price you agree to is the price you pay โ€” no surprise charges. If the actual scope of work changes once we're onsite (e.g., you found 3 more rooms of junk), we'll tell you before adding anything.
When do I pay?
Payment is collected upfront, the day of the job, before work begins. The contractor shows you a digital invoice on their phone. You sign + agree to the price, then pay via PayPal QR code (scan with your phone). It takes 30 seconds.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, PayPal, or Clover (card terminal). Most customers use PayPal QR โ€” you scan, pay, done. No PayPal account required, you can use a card directly.
Do you charge a trip fee?
No flat trip fee. The job price includes travel within our service area. If you're outside the area or it's a tiny job (under our minimum), we'll give you the all-in number upfront.
What's the cancellation policy?
Same-day cancellations incur a 35% fee (covers the contractor's held time). Rescheduling is free โ€” just move it to a different day. Two cancellations result in your account being placed on our Do Not Serve list. Full policy in our Terms of Service.

Who does the actual work โ€” TD Service or someone else?
Independent 1099 contractors in our network. We vet them, match them to your job, and back the work. They bring their own tools and liability insurance. You always know who's coming โ€” their name is in your booking confirmation. We're the matchmaker + accountability layer.
Are your contractors insured?
Yes. Each contractor carries their own liability insurance. TD Service LLC also carries general business insurance. If something goes wrong on a job, you have coverage.
What if I'm not happy with the work?
Tell us the same day. We'll come back and make it right at no extra charge. We won't leave you with work you're not satisfied with. That's the promise. Photo + walkthrough confirmation happens before you pay, so you have final say.
Will you give me a written estimate?
Yes โ€” every job gets a digital invoice with the agreed price + your signature before work starts. You'll have a permanent record of what was agreed. Ask for a quote any time.

Will you take everything in one trip?
Depends on volume. A standard truck holds about 1.5 cubic yards of junk (pickup-truck-bed sized). Bigger jobs we'll either do multiple trips or bring a trailer. Estate cleanouts and basement haul-offs are common โ€” just describe the scope when booking.
What about hazardous materials?
We don't haul: paint, chemicals, batteries, tires, asbestos, medical waste, or hazmat. For appliances with refrigerants (fridges, ACs), we can take them โ€” but EPA disposal adds a small fee. Ask us upfront if you're not sure.
How does scrap metal pickup work?
$200 minimum payout. We weigh your scrap together so you see the number, then split 50/50. You get cash same-day. Common scrap: appliances, copper, aluminum, steel, brass, car parts. Skip nails, bolts, and anything painted heavily.
Do you do recurring lawn care?
Yes โ€” weekly or bi-weekly. Lock in a season-long contract and the same contractor handles your lawn every time. Snow removal works the same way during winter.
๐ŸŽ Sweepstakes & Subscribers
How does the sweepstakes work?
Follow free โ†’ 1 free entry every month. Make a qualifying purchase โ†’ +1 extra entry that month (max 2 per month per pool). Last day of every month, 10 random followers split the prize pool (pool รท 10 each). Pool is funded by $0.75 from each completed sale, capped at $2,000 (sweepstakes) and $1,000 (cash). Free alternative method of entry available โ€” see official rules. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.
Can I sign up to be notified about deals?
Yes โ€” drop your email anywhere on the site (booking form, chat, sweepstakes). Active subscribers get 5 sweepstakes tickets per month + first crack at resale-store finds. Unsubscribe anytime โ€” link in every email.

Are you a licensed business?
Yes. TD Service LLC is a registered Illinois LLC, based in Peoria. EIN, sales tax permit, and required filings all on record. Insurance certificates available on request.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Not currently โ€” but it's on the roadmap. If you want to gift a service to someone, message us in chat and we'll set it up manually for you.
