Non-Discrimination & Equal Service Policy
Effective date: May 11, 2026 · TD Service LLC — Peoria, IL
Our Promise
TD Service LLC serves everyone equally. We do not refuse service, charge different prices, or change the quality of work we do based on who someone is.
Protected Classes
Consistent with the Illinois Human Rights Act (775 ILCS 5/), the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and other federal and state law, we will not discriminate against any customer, contractor, or employee on the basis of:
- Race, color, or national origin
- Religion or creed
- Sex, gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation
- Marital status, civil union status, pregnancy, or family status
- Age (subject to lawful age limits for alcohol, tobacco, or contracts)
- Disability or medical condition
- Ancestry, ethnicity, or citizenship status
- Military or veteran status, including unfavorable discharge from the military
- Source of income, including public assistance, child support, or housing vouchers
- Arrest record or expunged/sealed criminal history (per IL law)
- Order of protection status
- Any other class protected by federal, Illinois, or local law
Why We Might Refuse a Job
We do reserve the right to refuse service, but only for clear, neutral reasons that apply to every customer the same way. These reasons are:
- Safety: conditions on the property pose a real risk to our crew (active hazards, aggressive animals, unsecured firearms, biohazards we are not equipped to handle, etc.).
- Outside our service area: we are based in Peoria, IL and cannot economically reach the location.
- Outside our skill or licensing: the work requires a licensed trade (electrical, plumbing, structural) that we do not hold.
- Capacity: we are booked out and cannot meet the deadline you need.
- Payment: a prior bill is unpaid, a chargeback was filed without first contacting us, or the job exceeds a payment-terms threshold and the customer declines a deposit.
- Customer conduct: threats, harassment, theft, or sustained verbal abuse toward a crew member, by anyone present at the job site.
- Illegal or fraudulent activity: the job appears to involve unlawful disposal, stolen property, or misrepresentation of what's being moved/sold.
None of these reasons are based on who you are. They are based on what is being asked, where, by whom in terms of conduct, and our ability to do it safely and legally.
If You Feel You Were Treated Unfairly
If you believe a TD Service LLC contractor, employee, or the owner treated you in a way that conflicts with this policy, please tell us directly first — we want to fix it and we will.

This Applies Inside the Company Too
The same non-discrimination promise applies to the people who work with us as independent contractors. Job assignments, pay rates, and termination decisions are based on availability, performance, safety record, and conduct — never on protected class.
