When same-day matters
Most people don't plan for hauls. They show up.
- Realtor needs the property ready for a 4 PM showing. Yard junk + ratty couch on the porch has to go now.
- Tenant moved out last night. New tenant moving in tomorrow. Apartment full of leftover crap.
- Storm took down a tree. Brush pile is bigger than the truck. City won't take it Tuesday.
- You just bought a hot tub on Marketplace. Need the old one gone before the new one arrives.
- Mom is moving into assisted living tomorrow. The lift takes the bed, the dresser, the chair — but who takes the rest?
These are normal, every week. We're set up for it — owner-operated, one phone call to me, one truck on the road within an hour.
How "same-day" actually works
- You call (309) 460-3999. Tell me what you've got + where + when you need it gone.
- I quote in 60 seconds for typical jobs — flat rate, firm. Bigger jobs I ask for a photo to be exact.
- You say yes. I lock you into the schedule.
- I show up. Same day if you called before 9 AM Mon-Sat. Otherwise next morning, guaranteed.
- I load + leave. 1-3 hours for typical jobs. You don't lift a thing unless you want to.
- Pay on completion. Card, cash, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle.
What "same-day" doesn't mean
Honest caveats:
- If you call at 2 PM with a 5-bedroom hoarder cleanout, "same-day" isn't realistic. Same-day works for jobs that fit in one truck-trip and your call comes in early.
- Sundays we're closed. Same-day means Mon-Sat.
- Hazardous waste, asbestos, biohazards need licensed specialists — we'll refer you out, not haul those.
- Weather sometimes wins. Bad ice or thunderstorms? We push to next morning. We won't risk it.
Outside those, same-day is the default expectation. We mean it.

Pricing for same-day
Same flat-rate as scheduled jobs — no rush surcharge. Other haulers charge 20-30% extra for same-day. We don't. The reason: I'm already on the road. If the schedule fits, you pay the regular rate.
- Single item: $35-$75
- Quarter-truck: $90-$150
- Half-truck: $175-$250
- Full truck: $300-$425
